👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Pat steaks completely dry with paper towels — this is critical for the crust
- 2Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides
- 3Heat cast iron over high heat for 3 minutes until smoking hot
- 4Add oil and immediately place steaks in the pan
- 5Cook 3-4 minutes without moving for medium-rare
- 6Flip once; add butter, garlic, thyme, and rosemary
- 7Tilt pan and continuously spoon the foaming butter over the steak for 3 minutes
- 8Rest on a cutting board 5 minutes before serving
