- 1Mix smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and pepper into a dry rub
- 2Rub all over pork shoulder, pressing firmly to adhere
- 3Place pork fat-side up in slow cooker
- 4Pour 1 cup BBQ sauce over the top
- 5Cook on low 8 hours until fork-tender and falling apart
- 6Remove pork and shred with two forks, discarding large fat pieces
