2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp smoked paprika

1 large sliced onion
1 cup beef broth

1 Mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp black pepper into a rub
2 Pat brisket completely dry; rub the spice mixture all over both sides
3 Spread sliced onion on the bottom of the slow cooker
4 Place brisket fat-side up on top of the onions
5 Mix broth and Worcestershire; pour around (not over) the brisket
6 Cook on LOW 8–10 hours or HIGH 5–6 hours until fork-tender
7 Rest 15 minutes before slicing against the grain; spoon cooking juices over for serving
