- 2 cans (15 oz each) canned navy or pinto beans
- 6 strips diced bacon
- 1 diced white onion
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp bourbon
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika

👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F
- 2Cook bacon in a Dutch oven over medium heat until crispy; remove, leave fat
- 3Sauté onion in bacon fat for 5 minutes; add garlic and cook 1 minute
- 4Add ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, bourbon, Worcestershire, and paprika
- 5Stir in beans and most of the bacon bits
- 6Bring to a simmer, then transfer to oven uncovered
- 7Bake 40-50 minutes until thick and caramelized
- 8Top with reserved bacon bits and serve
