- 2 medium tomatoes
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- to taste salt
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro

- 1Heat oil in a skillet, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds
- 2Add diced onion and cook over medium heat until golden brown, 8 minutes
- 3Add ginger-garlic paste and cook 2 minutes until fragrant
- 4Add diced tomatoes and garam masala, cook until tomatoes break down, 5 minutes
- 5Add ground meat, break apart with a spoon and cook until browned, 8 minutes
- 6Stir in frozen peas, add a splash of water, cover and simmer 5 minutes
- 7Season with salt, garnish with cilantro and serve over rice or with roti
